Review by hotel critic
Staying at the Courtyard By Marriott Washington, DC Dupont Circle was delightful, and it perfectly complemented my love for American culture while bringing back memories of cozy Italian hideaways. The location is absolutely prime, with the vibrant Dupont Circle teeming with restaurants and shops just around the corner — a lovely spot to wander with friends before heading out to explore the White House, which is only a gentle stroll away. The hotel embraces a modern yet inviting atmosphere, and the exceptional service from the staff truly stood out. From the moment we checked in, Richard and Soncheree were warm, ensuring all our needs were met, especially after my unfortunate fall that required a wheelchair. They effortlessly moved us to a wheelchair-accessible room, showing genuine care that felt like the Southern hospitality I adore from country music lyrics! I was quite taken with the cleanliness and design of the space — it struck me as familiar, reminiscent of quaint motels back home but fancier with added touches like complimentary yoga programs and cozy in-room amenities that truly made our stay comfortable. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this Courtyard for anyone wanting a home away from home in DC, whether you're a solo traveler or with loved ones, the warm vibe and seamless service make for an unforgettable experience.
